First and foremost is our stand on the Infalible Word of God.  Our boys and girls memorize scripture from God's HOLY Word weekly. 

Our Goal is to teach boys and girls to know, love and serve the Lord.

  Our HISTORY

Our AWANA Ministry was born in September 1994 by Mike and Nancy Barton, who had a vision for our boys and girls at Arran Lake Baptist Church.  It began in the old Fellowship Hall (basement, 1st Floor and 3d Floor of Church Building) with the Cubbies, SPARKS, Pals, Chums, Pioneers, Guards, Junior Varsity and Varsity. On September 7, 2003 Varsity was reorginized as Journey 24-7.  Truth and Training (T&T) began phasing in September 2002 and was completed in thr Fall of 2004.  This replaced the old books of 3d through 6th grade.  In September 2006 JVs were reorginized as TREK 24-7.  In 2008 the Sparks Program began phasing in three new books; HangGlider, WingRunner and SkyStormer.  These changes were needed to ensure the boys and girls were getting what they needed to hide God's word in their heart.  Over these past 16 years, we have seen many lives changed (Leaders and Clubbers) to follow our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Our leaders are well trained and qualified to teach your children while they are here in our AWANA Club.  We are very proud of our AWANA Ministry here at Arran Lake Baptist Church.
